Oaklands Regeneration  Old Oak Common Lane

About Us

Genesis is a Housing Association that provides homes and high quality services for around 100,000 people. Its roots in West London date back to 1965 and it was established in response to the serious housing crisis that was gripping London then. Today, it supports a wide range of projects.

Genesis built 953 new homes in 2014/15 of which 532 were social and affordable rent. Our aspiration is to build nearly 1,000 new homes every year. Our recent projects include:

Woodberry Down - Genesis is a key partner in the regeneration of this Hackney estate, working with Berkeley Homes, Hackney Council, Woodberry Down Community Organisation and existing residents. The project will build 5,500 new homes by 2035.

Grahame Park is one of the largest housing-led regeneration schemes in the UK, which will deliver over 3,000 new homes by 2028.

Queens Park Rangers Football Club has been based in West London for over 130 years. The club would like to move into Old Oak, building a new world class stadium as well as providing a proper home for its well established community outreach activity. QPR have acquired strategic land interests throughout the Old Oak regeneration area for both the stadium and associated enabling works.

QPR and Genesis are being supported by Stadium Capital Developments who delivered the Emirates Stadium regeneration which included 3,500 new homes.
