About Us

Notting Hill Genesis (NHG) works in the community, providing homes for lower-income households. This is our primary purpose, and everything else we do supports that aim.

We are one of the largest housing associations in London and the south east, providing homes for around 170,000 people in some 55,000 properties across the capital and a further 9,000 in the home counties and East Anglia. Our recent projects include:

Woodberry Down - Notting Hill Genesis is a key partner in the regeneration of this Hackney estate, working with Berkeley Homes, Hackney Council, Woodberry Down Community Organisation and existing residents. The project will build 5,500 new homes by 2035.

Grahame Park is one of the largest housing-led regeneration schemes in the UK, which will deliver over 3,000 new homes by 2028.

Notting Hill Genesis has won many housing awards and continues to be recognised for its work in regeneration, housing and social regeneration.

Queens Park Rangers Football Club has been based in West London for over 130 years – for the last hundred years in the borough of Hammersmith & Fulham. The club is looking for a new home in the area to secure its long term future as its current stadium is too limited to be financially sustainable. In order to construct a new 30,000 seater community stadium – designed so it could be used all year round – QPR requires enabling development to fund the project, which is why the club has acquired strategic land interests throughout the Old Oak regeneration area.

QPR in the Community Trust is the charitable arm of QPR. It uses football coaching to promote healthy lifestyles amongst children and adults, as well as tackle deep-seated social problems such as unemployment and youth offending. The Trust has recently grown to thirty full time staff and now runs up to 300 sessions a week in the local area, including programmes in education and training as well as sports participation and disability sessions. More information about QPR in the Community Trust is available here.

QPR and Notting Hill Genesis are being supported by Stadium Capital Developments who delivered the Emirates Stadium regeneration which included 3,500 new homes.
