Jobs and training

Both Notting Hill Genesis and QPR, along with our contractor, Galliford Try Partnerships (GTP), are committed to making local employment and business opportunities centre stage of the regeneration project and providing opportunities for local people and locally based businesses.

We have developed a programme that delivers a range of education and training opportunities for local people, including:

Work Experience

  • Apprenticeship workshops for sixth form students and colleges both at schools/colleges and on site

  • Inset days and tours for sixth form and college students

  • Work experience placements

  • Work experience with our partners and contractors

  • School and college visits

Local Labour

  • Working with local employment services, Notting Hill Genesis/QPR and our supply chain will take pro-active steps to recruit local staff – our aim is for 15% if the workforce to be local residents

  • Will give all local employment services at least 10 days’ notice of job vacancies

  • Attend local job fairs and events
